Fifth-seeded St. Thomas won its third straight MIAC playoff road game, all in a six-day span, as it defeated Saint Benedict 65-62 in overtime on Saturday. They will advance into the NCAA playoffs for the second time in Coach Ruth Sinn’s five-year tenure.

The MIAC announces its 2009-10 Winter and Spring Academic All-Conference honorees. The conference recognized a record 431 student-athletes who represent the MIAC’s thirteen institutions.

Melissa Young-Kruse, head women's basketball coach for the past six years, announced her resignation effective April 9, 2010.

St. Thomas junior Rachel Booth and Gustavus senior Bri Radtke have been named finalists for the 2010 State Farm Coaches' Division III All-America Team, the WBCA announced Tuesday. 

Nicole Bundy scored 12 of her game-high 25 points in a game-closing 28-9 run as host UW-Whitewater pulled away to a 91-73 victory over St. Thomas in Friday night's NCAA women's basketball playoff game.

The MIAC announced the 2009-10 MIAC Women's Basketball Awards today, March 4, 2010. Gustavus Adolphus College senior guard Bri Radtke was named the 2009-10 MIAC Player of the Year.
