Offensive Player of the Week
Gustavus Adolphus College junior quarterback Jordan Becker (Easton, Minn./Blue Earth Area) compiled 244 yards of total offense in a 30-29 overtime win over No. 22 Carleton College on Saturday in Northfield. Becker was 17-of-31 in the air for 203 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions, and rushed for 41 yards on 11 carries with a touchdown. In the second half, Becker completed four third-down passes longer than eight yards to sustain two scoring drives including a 21-yard touchdown pass on third-and-16 in the third quarter. With the win, Gustavus improved to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the MIAC. This was the first win for the Gusties over a ranked team since 2001 when Gustavus defeated sixth-ranked Trinity (TX) 37-26.

Defensive Player of the Week
Concordia College senior defensive back Tom Flynn (Shelby, Mont.) was the leader of the Cobber defense that held Augsburg to only 18 points and 275 yards of total offense on Saturday. It is the fewest points scored and least amount of offensive yards gained by the Auggies all season long. Flynn played a linebacker role in Concordia's dime package that spent most of the day on the field against Augsburg's high-powered pass attack. He finished the day with a team-high 10 tackles, including seven solo tackles. Flynn also scored a touchdown as he recovered a fumble in the end zone in the second quarter. He also had one forced fumble and two pass break ups on the day.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Gustavus Adolphus College senior defensive lineman Brian Berglund (Lauderdale, Minn./Roseville Area) blocked two point after attempts in a 30-29 overtime win over No. 22 Carleton College on Saturday in Northfield. Berglund blocked the potentially game-winning extra point attempt with ten seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, forcing the contest into overtime. In overtime, Berglund was credited with another blocked point after attempt giving the Gusties the victory. With the win, Gustavus improved to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the MIAC. This was the first win for the Gusties over a ranked team since 2001 when Gustavus defeated sixth-ranked Trinity (TX) 37-26.
