Offensive Player of the Week
Augsburg College senior quarterback Jordan Berg (Gaylord, Minn./Sibley East) completed 37-of-53 passing for 397 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, leading Augsburg in a 49-21 win over St. Olaf to improve to 3-0 on the season. Berg led the Auggie offense to touchdowns on their first five drives to build a 35-14 halftime lead. The 397-yard effort was the ninth of his career (23 games), and improved his career stats to 594 completions, 998 attempts, 6,507 yards and 56 TDs. He already holds school records for career completions and TDs, and should break the attempt and yardage records next week. On the season, Berg has completed 95-of-147 passes for 956 yards with 9 TDs and just 2 interceptions.

Defensive Player of the Week
Concordia College junior safety Andrew Larson (Fergus Falls, Minn.) led the Cobber defense as they held Bethel to only 179 yards of total offense on Saturday in Concordia's 24-7 win over the Royals. Larson had a team-high eight total tackles and team highs in solo tackles (6) and assisted tackles (4) and made a key interception in the fourth quarter to seal the victory for the Cobbers. Concordia's defense did not allow a touchdown in the game (BU's only score came on a kickoff return) and have only allowed six points in their first two MIAC games again preseason favorites Saint John's and Bethel. Larson was a huge part of the CC defense that has helped Concordia to a 2-0 league start and a three-game winning streak.

Co-Special Teams Player of the Week
Augsburg College sophomore returner and running back David Tilton (Anoka, Minn.) returned a kickoff 77 yards for a touchdown with 26 seconds left in the first quarter, giving Augsburg a 28-7 advantage, en route to a 49-21 win over St. Olaf on Saturday. The kickoff return for a TD was Augsburg's first since the 1999 season. Tilton also had one punt return in the game. On the season, Tilton is averaging 28.9 yards per kick return (7 returns, 202 yards).

Co-Special Teams Player of the Week
Bethel University junior kick returner Joel Quick (Johnston, Iowa) returned a Concordia kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown and gave Bethel their only touchdown of the day on Saturday in Moorhead. The return pulled the Royals, who were down 17-0 beforehand, back into the game. Quick had three returns for a total of 100 yards on kickoffs, and also had 41 yards on two receptions as a wide receiver.
