St. Olaf's Bateman named Division III Swimmer of the Week

SOMERS, Wis - St. Olaf junior Chris Bateman was named the CollegeSwimming.com Division III men's swimmer of the week on Tuesday after he posted two NCAA B-cut times in Saturday's Northfield Quad Classic.
In the unscored event, Bateman won the 100 breaststroke (59.94), the 200 backstroke (1:54.50, NCAA "B" time) and the 400 individual medley (4:04.92, NCAA "B" time). The 2009 All-American also swam on the 200 medley relay (1:38.99).
