Gustavus Adolphus College senior Skylar Davis (Palatine, Ill.) broke the 500-yard freestyle pool record at MSU-Mankato on Friday night (4:46.43) and then went even faster on Saturday (4:45.52) at home versus St. Cloud State. Davis won both races. He added a 200-yard freestyle win (1:46.38) on Friday and a 1,000-yard freestyle win (9:53.48) on Saturday. Davis also had key second-place performances in the 200IM and the lead-off leg of the 400-yard relay in back-to-back races during the Gusties win over St. Cloud State.
