Carleton College win's 2002 MIAC Men's Cross Country Champions
The St. Olaf women and Carleton men walked away as team champions at Saturday's MIAC Cross Country Championships. It is the fifth year in a row that the St. Olaf women have been team champions, and Carleton's win breaks up a string of two consecutive titles by the St. Thomas men.
Megan Daymont led the Oles and took the individual women's title for the second consecutive year with a time of 18:15.7, more then ten seconds better than her winning time a year ago. On the men's side, Carleton received strong finishes from Matt Hooley, Dan Bucy, and Bryan Donald who finished third, fourth and sixth respectively. Tom Kreger of Hamline took the individual men's title with a time of 25:19.0.
